John can provide fee based consulting on Low Maintenance Gardening. He is an award winning Gardener, Plant Hybridizer, Garden Lecturer and Garden Writer. He has also been recognized both nationally and internationally for his Rose Gardening and Rose Plant Hybridizing accomplishments, and has been awarded the prestigious American Rose Society’s designation as a “Master Consulting Rosarian.” John’s has invented (hybridized) new and unique roses that have won awards and were sough out by a national commercial plant grower for testing and consideration for nation-wide sale. He wrote and was awarded United States Plant Patents for a new and unique roses that he hybridized. John has conducted gardening research on a wide variety of gardening topics. He has given over 100 gardening presentations and written over 100 gardening articles that have been published locally, nationally and internationally. He has also produced 70+ gardening YouTube videos that have received over 100,000 views. John’s gardening efforts have been featured in local, national and international publications.​
